So I will just preface by saying that today is a shitty day all around. The news... the weather... random family drama and other crap... so to add to all of this, I get on the brown line today and this guy unwraps a piece of candy and THROWS THE WRAPPER OUT THE DOOR while we are at the stop. I seriously just did a double take, like "um, did you just do that?" I was speechless?!
Do people have such blatant disregard and disrespect for their surroundings? Did he even realize he did it? Does he throw his trash on the ground at his job or at home?
Today is a "I have waning faith in humanity" day.
Uncool, dude. Really uncool...

When I see people do that I just say "Hey, I think you dropped something there, it might be important."
I HATE LITTERBUGS! Who do they think is going to pick it up?
My boyfriend and I were on the Blue Line this weekend and this guy in front of us was eating tootsie rolls. Every time the doors would open at a stop, he'd toss the wrappers out the door onto the platform. Crap like that makes me violent.
And just try suggesting, even politely, that a litterer please pick up what he/she dropped, and you'll get a rant. I've lost faith in humanity, at least on public transit. Very few riders care about anyone but their damn selves. Drop litter, stuff your face, sit sideways across two seats, blast your crappy music on your iPod, do whatever. I guess that's just how it is. Sad.
I really love the perfect placement of the 312 BANKRUPT sign in the background!
His face kind of matches the picture of the little bulldog on the train's ceiling. Neat!
